Take a short drive up one of Napa’s most spectacular winding roads to access one of Napa’s most illustrious appellations known as Mt. Veeder. Our road is enveloped in arched oak trees and while you’ll feel a world away, you’re only 10 minutes from downtown Napa. There is no better way to experience our wines than to sit on our patio and see where it all began and continues to grow.

You’ll taste a selection of four current release wines and we’ll take a trip into the barrel room for a sneak peak of an upcoming release. Relax and take your time to enjoy the wines; this is Napa without the crowds – except for the occasional deer, fox, or jack rabbit that traipse near the property daily. If you’re lucky, you may catch a glimpse of our winery dogs Hobie and Trigger or our winery cat Santo who will try and steal the limelight! Unique, personalized, special: This is Fontanella.

We are open daily between 10:00am and 5:00pm.

Choose from these great tasting options:

  • Fontanella Journey Tasting– Taste through four current release wines and enjoy a trip into our barrel room for a sample from an upcoming release. A small plate with cheese and crackers is included. Allow 75 minutes for tasting. $65 per guest (plus tax).

 

  • Reserve Tour & Tasting– For the Cabernet Sauvignon and Mountain Wine Lovers! Enjoy tasting through our selection of Cabernet Sauvignons, including our flagship Estate Reserve and Per Sempre, while we guide you through what makes Mt. Veeder and our Estate Vineyard’s location unique. Served with a cheese plate and includes an overview of our vineyard, and tour of our winery and barrel room including a chance to sample an upcoming vintage right from the barrel. Allow 75 minutes for tour and tasting. $95 per guest (plus tax). 

We are unable to accommodate any outside food, anyone under the age of 21, including infants and children, or split reservations.

We kindly ask for 24 hr. notice of cancellation, otherwise tastings will be charged in full.
